One of the objectives of ‘Bisita Bayan Kada Buwan’ program introduced by Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia is to re-establish cooperation among government units and share good practices in local governance system.

This was reiterated by the governor during the first day of “Bisita Bayan” in Orani town on Tuesday.

Gov. Joet “visited” the town with Vice Gov. Cris Garcia and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) and department heads in tow.

“Umaasa kami na magiging makabuluhan ang buong buwan ng Abril sa pagbisita namin sa inyong bayan ng Orani,” Gov. Garcia said.

He urged the barangays to prepare their master plan so as to hasten the release of funds various infrastructure projects.

“Mahirap mag-plano kung walang barangay master plan,” said the governor.

According to Gov. Joet, fund for barangay service vehicles worth P9.8 million had been readied but the said amount is good only for eight barangays.
